The CARS Tour is bringing the heat back to Dominion Raceway on June 13th, and all eyes are locked on one driver with a mission — Mini Tyrrell.
After capturing the spotlight last season with a thrilling victory in the Mini’s Mission 125, Tyrrell returns to Woodford, Virginia looking to do what few drivers can accomplish: win the event two years in a row. But standing directly in his path is one man who would love nothing more than to ruin the party — Doug Barnes Jr.
What started as hard racing has now exploded into one of the fiercest rivalries in Late Model Stock racing.
The feud between Barnes and Tyrrell boiled over during the March 2026 CARS Tour race at Wake County Speedway. Battling fiercely for the lead, the two drivers made contact exiting turn two before the chaos intensified in turn four when Tyrrell’s machine climbed onto the driver’s door of Barnes’ car in a moment fans are still talking about across the racing world.
Since that night, the rivalry has only grown hotter.
Now Tyrrell returns to Dominion Raceway with momentum, confidence, and a clear goal: finish the mission once again. But Barnes — the sport’s ultimate villain — has his own mission. Stopping Tyrrell.
The stage is set for fireworks.
