Virginia By The Glass is a free public speaker series at 1781 Brewing Company and Wilderness Run Vineyards, created as part of 1781’s VA250 commemorative programming. Join us August 27 for Tsenacommacah and the World the English Entered, with Chris Custalow, an Indigenous cultural preservationist and educator.
This session will look at Tsenacommacah, the Indigenous world the English entered, and the people, places, and histories that shaped Virginia long before and during the early years of English colonization. Guests can expect a relaxed evening of history, storytelling, questions, and conversation on the farm.
Beer, wine, food, and cigars will be available on site.
