Make Sunday Hikes a weekly tradition--hike three-to-five miles paired with a furry buddy, and enjoy the fresh air. Meet at ODHS at 7:45 a.m., and volunteers will match hikers with rescue dogs. The group will then caravan to one of the many beautiful trails in Fredericksburg.

Take a rescue dog on easy, weekly Saturday Strolls at 7:45 a.m. Meet volunteers at the facility, where they’ll pair dogs with participants and head in a caravan to a different spot each week. The strolls are on flat, simple paths with an indoor backup for wet weather. Don’t miss the chance to get exercise, socialize with fellow dog lovers and give the pups a chance to explore.
