Canal Street, 200 Block, Begins One-Way Conversion in Fredericksburg

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — This is the week when the 200 block of Canal Street's eastbound traffic toward Caroline Street will converted to one-way traffic, according to the city.

For safety purposes, the traffic signal at Prince Anne Street and Canal Street will remain in operation for two weeks after the conversion is complete.

After that, a new stop sign will be installed on Canal Street on the west side of Princess Anne Street, and the traffic signal will go to flash mode for a week before being turned off for good.
