Celebrate Fried Chicken & Waffles Day At Fredericksburg's Metro Diner
Fredericksburg's Metro Diner is offering an in-diner discount to anyone who orders Fried Chicken & Waffles on Thursday.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Metro Diner, the locally owned and operated family restaurant chain, is celebrating its seventh annual National Fried Chicken & Waffles Day by offering discounts to in-diner customers on Thursday. Customers can also register via social media for a chance to win free Fried Chicken & Waffles for a year.
The Fredericksburg Metro Diner, which is located at 2068 Plank Road, will be participating in the annual celebration by offering the following to all in-diner customers:
- In-Diner Discount: Anyone who orders Fried Chicken & Waffles in-diner on Aug. 8 will receive $5 off the dish. Plus, guests who order the celebrated meal will get a bracelet good for 10 percent off future dine-in Chicken & Waffle orders in August, while supplies last.
- Fried Chicken & Waffles for A Year: Enter Metro Diner’s annual social media contest for a chance to win free Fried Chicken & Waffles for a year! Festive Chicken & Waffle plushies will be awarded to a select few as a second-place prize. The contest runs Thursday, Aug. 1, through Friday, Aug. 9, on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, with the winner announced Monday, Aug. 12.
With more than 60 locations nationwide, Metro Diner created National Fried Chicken & Waffle Day in 2018.
