Charles "Chucky" Covington Jr., 43

Charles “Chucky” Franklin Covington, Jr., 43, of Fredericksburg died Thursday, September 11, 2014 unexpectedly.

Survivors include his wife, Wendi K. Covington of Fredericksburg; daughter Kayla Covington of Fredericksburg; twin sons Ashby Covington and Austin Covington; parents Charles “Sonny” Covington, Sr., and Judith Y. Cooper and husband Herbert, all of Fredericksburg; brother Robert Greene of Fredericksburg; sister Sherry Covington of Richmond; stepdaughter Chelsea Sorrell of Fredericksburg; step-grandchildren Kalynn Jenkins, Jahden Jenkins, and Maddex Jenkins; and numerous aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin and Jean Heflin, and uncle Wayne Heflin.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 15, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Beanie Huffman, Marty Jones, Roland Mills, Johnny Jones, Les Heflin, and Gary Griffis.
