Charles F. Woodell, 65

Charles F. Woodell, 65, of Spotsylvania County passed away Friday, July 3. 2015 at Mary Washington Hospital.

Charlie was a 1969 graduate of Spotsylvania High School where he excelled in football and baseball. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for 45 years and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Charlie was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.

Mr. Woodell was the son of the late Albert and Gloria Carr Woodell.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Deale Woodell; three daughters Kim Sullivan, Nikki and Katie Woodell; several grandchildren; two sisters Sandy Brooks (Jerry) and Theresa Dysart.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 10 at Hebron Baptist Church. Interment will be held at a later date in the Deale Sorrell Cemetery.
