Chick-fil-A West Garrisonville is scheduled to open in Stafford, with Marine Corps veteran as owner-operator.
STAFFORD, VA — A new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Stafford is scheduled to open Thursday, May 21, at 6 a.m. at 930 Garrisonville Road. Chick-fil-A Inc. said it selected Mike Lindblom as the local owner-operator of Chick-fil-A West Garrisonville.
The restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Chick-fil-A said the location will offer dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery, mobile pick-up and Mobile Thru. The restaurant also will include an indoor play area.
“Opening Chick-fil-A West Garrisonville feels like a true homecoming for me,” Lindblom said. “This is a hardworking, family-centered community, and it means so much to serve the people who make it special. My wife and I look forward to creating a place where our team feels like family and every Guest is welcomed with genuine care.”

Lindblom grew up in a military family and is a retired Marine, according to a release. He served in the Marine Corps, worked in corporate America, and learned the business by working alongside other Chick-fil-A owner-operators. He will lead the restaurant in the Garrisonville community, where his Marine Corps career began and ended.
To mark the opening, the company said guests who visit on opening day wearing cow spots can redeem one free entrée or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru, while supplies last. No purchase is necessary, according to the release. The offer is limited to one per person in cow attire, per day.

Chick-fil-A said the opening also will include a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A Inc. to Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank to support local hunger relief efforts. The restaurant also plans to participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits.
The company said the new restaurant is expected to create about 85 jobs. The release did not give an opening ceremony schedule or additional details beyond the restaurant’s opening-day promotion and operating plans.
