Christmas Shopping Season Begins in Fredericksburg Area
Two "events" being held this weekend in downtown Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania Town Centre.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — You spell Christmas C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S. To be literal, anyway. But to retailers, Christmas is spelled C-O-M-M-E-R-C-E.
And it never can come too soon, despite the fact that Thanksgiving isn't even until Nov. 24.
So it is that the unofficial holiday season opens this weekend in the Fredericksburg area.
