Church Ransacked, Bible Destroyed in Fredericksburg: Police
Stafford County Sheriff's Office reports that Ferry Farm Baptist Church was burglarized.

STAFFORD, VA — Presumably the flock last Sunday at Ferry Farm Baptist Church departed the service with spiritual guidance, hymns ringing in their ears and a feel-good way to begin the ending of the weekend.
And then came Monday.
According to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office, the church at 1 Westmoreland Drive in Fredericksburg was broken into, ransacked and, of all things, had a bible ripped apart and tossed to the floor.

Spiritual guidance, indeed.
Police say the morning of Sept. 12, a citizen walking his dog through the church parking lot noticed glass was broken out of a side-entry door.

Deputies arrived and found that, sure enough, the church had been burglarized. Numerous rooms and closets were ransacked, a television set was vandalized and, yes, a bible had been destroyed.
