City Blotter: Vandalisms and Larcenies Reported

A roundup of reported crimes in the past week.

The following was provided by the City of Fredericksburg Police Department: 

VANDALISM: 

100 block of Princess Anne Street, Oct. 8 – 9, 8 a.m.  A resident reported that an unknown person damaged her vehicle in the parking lot.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

100 block of Hickock Circle, Oct. 8 – 9, 6 a.m.  A resident reported that the tires on both of his vehicles were punctured.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1900 block of Plank Road, Oct. 5 – 9, 4:40 p.m.  The business owner reported that an unknown person damaged the frame surrounding the window in the front door.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1600 block of Wilcox Avenue, Oct. 9, 6 p.m.  An officer patrolling in the area observed a male and female subject running into the woods near a construction site and found graffiti that had just been spray painted on the buildings and trailers at the scene.  The officer searched the vicinity but was unable to locate the two probable suspects. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

 Mary Washington Hospital, 1001 Sam Perry Blvd., Oct. 5, 10:50 p.m.  A juvenile reported that his bicycle was stolen from the main entrance area while he visited a friend at the hospital.  No suspects or witnesses at this time. 

2900 block of Charles Street, Oct. 6. A resident reported that two windows on her vehicle were broken between 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 6 and 7:45 a.m. on Oct. 7 with a large rock and her purse and a cell phone were stolen from inside.  Some of the contents of her purse were later found in a neighbor’s yard.  The investigation is ongoing.   

300 block of Woodford Street. A resident reported that an unknown person scattered the contents of his glove box onto the seats of his vehicle and stole his vehicle registration card between 2 p.m. on Oct. 6 and 9 a.m. on Oct. 7.  No suspects or witnesses at this time. Home Depot,

1201 Gateway Blvd., Oct. 8, 1:30 p.m.  A contractor reported that tools were stolen from an unsecured tool box on his pickup.  No suspects or witnesses at this time. 

1300 block of Wilcox Avenue.  A resident reported that a piece of lawn décor was stolen from her yard between 11 p.m. on Oct. 7 and 5:20 p.m. on Oct. 8.  No suspects or witnesses at this time. 

400 block of Virginia Ave, Oct. 7, 6:30 p.m.  A resident reported that a number of tools were stolen from a utility trailer that was parked in the driveway.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Two Times New, 2028 Plank Rd., Oct. 9, 5:30 p.m.  A consignor reported that a video game system was stolen from his store.  No suspects or witnesses at this time. 

800 block of Sophia Street, Oct. 9, 5:30 p.m.  A Spotsylvania resident reported that one of the license plates was stolen from her vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.  

1000 block of Wicklow Drive, Oct. 10 5:45 a.m.  A resident reported that the license plates were stolen from his vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.
