Colonial Forge High on U.S. News 'Best High Schools' List (ICYMI)
In Case You Missed It: The latest U.S. News & World Report rankings put one school above the rest.

A high school in Stafford County has been ranked among the 2015 “Best High Schools in Nation,” according to new rankings by U.S. News & World Report.
Released Tuesday, the 2015 rankings include data on more than 21,150 public high schools across the country. The list also included state rankings.

To determine the rankings, U.S. News used math and readings scores from state proficiency tests, as well as “the degree to which schools prepare students for college-level work,” using Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate test data.
- Colonial Forge High School ranked 30th in the state and No. 955 in the nation.
Virginia’s top school is Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, according to U.S. News.
