Community Cleanup Week: Location of Dumpsters in Fredericksburg

Drop off things such as furniture, tires, etc. Also, Monday is last day to call for appliance pickup on Tuesday.

FREDERICKSBURG — Need to get rid of relatively large unwanted household items or business equipment and have neither the time nor the right vehicle to get them to the dump? Then this is your week.

It's Community Cleanup Week, and it began Sunday and will continue through Saturday.

Large containers will be placed at several locations throughout the city to help citizens dispose of such things as furniture, tires, appliances, brush and scrap materials — but no household trash, paint or hazardous materials.
