Cornhole Classic Saturday in Fredericksburg

In its first year, the tournament will debut with a $1,000 first prize to the winning team; food and other activities will be on hand.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — This certainly isn't your friendly game of cornhole in the backyard or at a football tailgate party. Nope. This one's serious business, and there's cash on the line.

It's the 1st Annual Fredericksburg Regional Blue and Gray Cornhole Classic.

It's set for 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday at the Fredericksburg Field House, 3411 Shannon Park Drive.

Registration has been going on since last month but entries will be accepted through Friday.

Teams of two will compete throughout the day for a $1000 prize ($500 for 2nd, $250 for 3rd).

The Cornhole Classic also will have food, games and other activities.
