Counterfeit Money, Stolen Vehicle Net Arrests In Stafford: ICYMI
ICYMI: Two young people in a stolen vehicle with counterfeit bills were arrested in Stafford, says the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

STAFFORD, VA—Two young people in a stolen vehicle with counterfeit bills were arrested last Wednesday on Bellows Avenue, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. A juvenile was charged with possession of stolen property, possession of counterfeit money and driving while suspended. The adult, Donavin Lee Powell, 20, of Stafford, was jailed on an outstanding warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
Shortly after 10 a.m., police saw a vehicle quickly pulling out of a parking spot at the Motel 6 on Warrenton Road. A deputy ran the tags and found that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Westmoreland, so police pulled it over on Bellows Avenue.
Police found several counterfeit $20 bills in the juvenile's wallet and discovered the juvenile was wanted on two felony detention orders out of Spotsylvania.
