CSX Train Kills Man on Tracks in Fredericksburg: Police
One of two men struck by a CSX train early Saturday died later that day, according to Fredericksburg Police. The other man struck is stable.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — One of two men struck by a CSX train early Saturday and later died at a an area hospital has been identified, according to Fredericksburg Police. He was Jeremy David Day, 30, of Fredericksburg. The other victim is in critical but stable condition at a Richmond Hospital.
Around 3:25 a.m., police received a report of two men on the CSX tracks near VRE parking lot G having been hit by a train. Day died about nine hours later. Details are scant, but the investigation is "active and ongoing." Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call 540-373-3122.
