Decatur Crabs Burglars Sought In Fredericksburg: Police

Authorities are looking for two people who broke into Decatur Crabs in Fredericksburg and stole an undisclosed amount of money: Police.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA—Authorities are looking for two people who broke into Decatur Crabs at 2000 Plank Road early Sunday and stole an undisclosed amount of money, according to Fredericksburg Police.

Shortly before 5 a.m., police were alerted to the incident, caught on video. The owner said the two unknown men were dressed in all black. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 540-373-3122. Also in Monday's Fredericksburg Police crime report:

Fredericksburg Golf, 2017 Plank Road, 8/26, 5:00 a.m. A patrol officer responded for an alarm
activation and discovered an unknown person had forced entry into the store and rummaged
through various items. The investigation is ongoing.

100 block Hanover Street, 8/25, 12:50 a.m. A patrol officer discovered one of the buildings had a
shattered window pane. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Vehicle Tampering

1000 block Sophia Street, 8/26, 3:45 p.m. A citizen reported that an unknown person tampered
with her vehicle’s keyhole. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Larceny – Theft from Motor Vehicle

2300 block Plank Road, 8/26, 1:15 p.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person stole her
purse from her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
500 block Pitt Street, 8/26, 10:00 a.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person stole
miscellaneous items from her unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Vandalism of Motor Vehicle

2300 block Cowan Boulevard, 8/26, 10:30 p.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person
keyed her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
