Dog Bowl 2018: Fredericksburg SPCA Has Your Ticket

FREDERICKSBURG, VA—Celebrate Super Bowl weekend in a manner to which you may not be accustomed. Namely, celebrate it with bunch of lovable dogs and cats at the Fredericksburg Regional SPCA, 10819 Courthouse Road.

It's the "Dog Bowl," 11:30 a.m.-noon both Saturday and Sunday. It's not really a football game, as it were, but it's nonetheless a play group where you can watch adoptable dogs romp around the place. And if you see one that catches your eye in a particular way, you're in luck this weekend.

That's because both days, the organization is having an adoption special of $5.20 for both dogs and cats. Considering that the normal prices for adoption runs from $100-$250, that's a pretty sweet deal. Avocado dip not included.
