Dog Krazy's 3rd Fredericksburg Location Now Open

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Fredericksburg residents are clearly crazy for dogs, as the Dog Krazy pet supply store has now opened its third location in the city.

The store is open now, and a grand opening event is expected later this month.

The new facility is located in Chancellor Commons at 4262 Plank Road. It is the brand's eighth Virginia store with locations in Stafford and Richmond.

Nancy Guinn is the owner and founder of Dog Krazy. She told Patch that a Chancellor Commons location made sense for customers visiting from Locust Grove, Unionville, and Orange.

"It's been our wish to be more accessible to them. We constantly search for new locations for Dog Krazy that align with our customer base's convenience," Guinn told Patch. "Our customers' phenomenal support is unparalleled—they truly are the best in the world!"

The new store is open now, but a Dog Krazy spokesperson told Patch they are still fine-tuning details for their operation. The store is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

"We are beyond excited to unveil our latest location at Chancellor Commons," Dog Krazy's Chris Guinn said in a news release. "Our unwavering dedication to enhancing the lives of pets shines through in the quality and care intrinsic to our diverse range of products and services."

In addition to pet food and supplies, Dog Krazy operates The Piggy Bank, which donates money to local animal charities.

"In 2006, Nancy [Guinn] opened the first Dog Krazy with Piglet the Bulldog by her side," Dog Krazy said on its website. "Piglet passed away in 2016 but through Dog Krazy her memory will always live on. And now, through The Piggy Bank, Piglet will continue to bless the lives of more and more people everyday."
