Don Harold Morris, 75

Don Harold Morris, 75, of Fredericksburg, died September 20, 2014 at Mary Washington Hospital.

Don taught engineering at the university level for 42 years, including 28 years at Virginia Tech. Other schools include Mississippi State University, Iowa State University, and the U. S. Military Academy at West Point.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Sandra S. Morris; his daughter, Mary Beth Rowles and husband Steve of King George; his brother, Kerry Morris and wife Diane of Piperton, TN; and his sister, Sharon Davis and husband Wendell of Olive Branch, MS.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 27 at Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, 308 Hanover Street, Fredericksburg, VA, with a reception to follow in Kobler Hall.
