Driver Hits Housemate With Car In Driveway Of Stafford Home: Police
A driver hit a man with their car in a Stafford driveway on Friday, police said. The two people lived in the same home on Embrey Mill Road.
STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A man from Stafford County suffered serious injuries to his legs on Friday when he was struck by a car in his driveway, according to a report from the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
The incident occurred around 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan 21. The man was struck at his home in the 100 block of Embrey Mill Road in the northern end of Stafford County.
Deputies determined that the man was hit by a car in the drive way during a "disturbance," the sheriff's office said in a report. The driver of the home lived in the house with the victim, though authorities did not provide any further details about the nature of their relationship.

The driver remained on the scene after the incident, police said. No charges have been publicly announced. Authorities have also chosen not to publicly identify the driver.

In an update posted to Facebook on Saturday morning, the sheriff's office noted that their investigation was still ongoing.
