Driver Killed in I-95 Wreck Near Fredericksburg
Car left the roadway and caught fire before sunrise Monday morning, according to Virginia State Police.

Remains have yet to be identified in a fatal wreck early Monday morning in Stafford County.
Virginia State Police responded to the scene at 5:14 a.m. in the area of the 131 mile-marker on Interstate 95.
“A car traveling south on I-95 ran off the left side of the road and caught fire,” according to police spokesperson Corinne Geller. ”The driver, and only occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.”

The driver’s remains have been transported to the Office of the Medical Examiner in Richmond for an autopsy and positive identification.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, according to Geller.
