The chase began around 1 p.m. on I-95 near Warrenton Road. A deputy reported that a Nissan Rogue passed him on the right shoulder at a high speed.

"Deputy Holub activated his emergency equipment, but the Rogue refused to stop, accelerating to over 118 mph and weaving through traffic," the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said on Facebook. "Deputies attempted to deploy a spike strip near the Courthouse Road exit, but were unsuccessful."

Near mile marker 142, the driver of the Rogue had to slow down due to traffic. There, deputies used a rolling road block to push the Nissan along a jersey wall.

Beck, the driver of the Nissan, was then taken into custody without incident.

"Excellent work by the deputies to safely end this pursuit and remove this dangerous driver from the highway," the sheriff's office said.
