"The driver indicated signs of impairment with their speech, balance, and a strong odor of alcohol on their breath," according to the report. "The driver denied consuming alcohol that day. The driver then revealed that the tags were swapped from another vehicle without filing the necessary DMV paperwork. The driver provided the correct tags from inside the vehicle upon request. The driver was administered a field sobriety test before being transported to the Sheriff’s Office for a breath test."
After providing two deficient breath samples, the driver, who was identified as Princesshamecca Brent of Fredericksburg, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving while intoxicated, expired plates, displaying fictitious plates, and a traffic lane violation, according to the report. She was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on an unsecured bond until sober.
