Eagle Sports Roundup: All-CAC Selections
High-soaring Eagles were named to the conference's postseason teams in their respective sports.

Field Hockey
Two Eagles were named to the first team, senior Morgan Jones and junior Lisa Charney. The duo combined for 43 goals and 107 points, and helped to lead the Eagles to a 15-5 campaign.
Junior Florence George, sophomore Caitlin Baker, and freshman Amy Abernathy were all selected to the second team, with Abernathy also bringing home Co-Rookie of the Year honors.

Volleyball

Senior Katie Shiflett was named to the first team. Shiflett served as the team's primary setter, accruing a whopping 1051 assists. Junior Kaitlynn Wickersham was named to the second team. Wickersham was a force up front all season long, racking up 274 kills.
Women's Soccer
Sophomore Tina Rader was named to the first team after a season in which she led UMW in goals and nearly broke an NCAA record for fastest hat trick during a Sept. 5 game against Eastern Mennonite University.
Sophomore Erin Reynolds and senior Karen Strat were both named to the second after helping UMW to a 9-7-2 record.
Men's Soccer
Senior midfielder Bram Sims was named to the first team. Sims started every game in 2011, helping the Eagles to an impressive conference mark of 5-1-2.
Sophomore defender David Heller was named to the second team. Heller led the Eagles in goals, and looks to become a centerpiece of the UMW attack in 2012.
