Eugene Dunn, 34

Eugene A. Dunn, 34, of Spotsylvania County, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 at the University of Virginia Hospital.

Sgt. Dunn worked as an armed officer for New Horizon Security Services.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Dunn; five children, Kaylah, Jayden, Ahreeauna, Kyra and Jemell; his mother, Peggy Johnson; his father, Jerome Dunn; sister Celina Johnson; maternal grandmother, Betty “Baya” Johnson; mother-in-law, Debbie “Nana” Dodson; and father-in-law, Charlie Dotson. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, T.C Johnson; and by brother Jemell Dunn.

The family will receive close friends 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27th with a service to follow at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel.

Interment will be private.
