In your 2 hour adventure on foot throughout Fredericksburg, VA, your team will need to find answers to clues about the shops and restaurants on the map WITHOUT using your cell or other device and while remaining with your team the ENTIRE time. You will have to ask questions, read signs and visit businesses all in an effort to beat your competitors.
With registration, each team member will receive an event T-shirt (at least one member of team MUST wear t-shirt), 20 raffle tickets per team, sponsor bags for each team member with coupons and other promotional items, and some delicious food from J.Brian's after the event
Winning Team gets $100 plus extra raffle tickets
All participants will have chance to win gift certificates and merchandise from participating businesses.
We will also have prizes for teams like most creative uniforms, most enthusiastic and more!
Each team can have up to 4 participants (participants are defined as individuals 12 and older). Children under 12 can participate for free.
The cost per team:
February 16- March 31st - $75
April 1-April 20 - $80
Scavenger Hunt day - $90
T-shirts, rules and raffle tickets can be picked up at the Headquarters Library in RM 1 on Saturday April 14th* from 9am-12pm or day of event beginning at 10:30.
*Packets and T-shirts will be distributed BY TEAM. Any team that picks up 4/14 will get an additional 5 raffle tickets.
