Local favorites, Southern Velocity, will play the Rock the Boat lakeside concert series at Lake Anna on Saturday, July 7 from 7 to 10 p.m. The six-member band formed just for fun to play their favorite rock-and-roll classics and southern-rock hits from Journey, The Doors, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Audiences find their playing infectious and dance and sing along to their favorite cover songs.
The Pavilion is situated on Lake Anna with scenic lakeside sunset views. Seating is available in The Pavilion or bring lawn chairs for lawn seating.
