Celebrated for its exceptional breadth, depth, and quality, the Barnes Foundation's art collection includes works by some of the greatest European and American masters of impressionism, post-impressionist, and early modern art, as well as African sculpture, Pennsylvania German decorative arts, Native American textiles, metalwork, and more. "Visionary art as defined for the purposes of the American Visionary Art Museum refers to art produced by self-taught individuals, usually without formal training, whose works arise from an innate personal vision that revels foremost in the creative act itself."

Entry Fees    Introductory half hour briefing at Barnes Foundation then on your own with audio headsets. Anticipate 2.5 hours at the Foundation American Visionary Museum, Baltimore, tour for 1.5 hour stop
