'Family Pirate Pool Party' Saturday In Fredericksburg
The Family Pirate Pool Party will be held 7:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday at Loriella Pool in Fredericksburg, 10910 Leavells Road.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — So, here we are. Kids have been going to the pool for the better part of two months, now. For some of them, especially the older ones, the ritual might be getting a bit old. Well, here's a way to make going to the pool a completely different experience.
It's the Family Pirate Pool Party, 7:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday at Loriella Pool in Fredericksburg, 10910 Leavells Road. It's put on by Spotsylvania Parks and Recreation and the Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office, and the latter will be having demonstrations by its specialty units.

There also will be games, prizes, raffles and dancing. "DJ Rick" will be providing tunes. Tickets are $3 for those 13 and older, $2 for those 5-12 and free for those 4 or younger.
