Fatal Hit and Run: State Police Seeking Red Vehicle

Virginia State Police is investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash after discovering the body of a pedestrian on Friday morning in Culpeper County.

The victim was identified as Robert Lee Walker, 72, of Locust Grove. He died at the scene as a result of the crash, according to a state police release.

Walker’s body was discovered on Rout 3 just west of Yellow Bottom Road.

State Police troopers are trying to locate the driver and the vehicle, believed to be red in color with damage to the left front corner.
