Five Shot Dead, Including Three Children, Found in Culpeper

Five people were found shot to death in Culpeper County on Sunday night, according to the Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded at 10 p.m Sunday to a home in the 14000 block of Rixeyville Road, according to a release.

Two adults, both 35, were found, as well as three children, according to WTOP, two of the children were elementary-school age and one was middle-school age.

According to WJLA, police believe Clarence Washington, 35, shot and killed his family before shooting himself. The victims were identified as wife, Shauna Washington, 35, and their daughters Omesha, 13, Onya, 6, and Olivia, 4.
