Fredericksburg Area Churches To Hold Worship Rally At Stadium

A group of evangelical churches in the Fredericksburg area are holding a rally on Sunday, Nov. 1 at FredNats Stadium.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A group of evangelical churches in the Fredericksburg area are holding a rally on Sunday, Nov. 1 at FredNats Stadium "to worship our Lord and express the unity we have in Christ."

The One Church Rappahannock Region Worship Rally starts at 3 p.m. Registration is required to attend the rally due to capacity limits because of the coronavirus, but there is no charge.

General admission seating for the rally will be available on the field and in the seating bowl. Those planning to sit on the field may want to bring a blanket to sit on. Chairs will not be allowed on the field. Social distancing will be expected, and masks will be required for entering the stadium.

"While the worship rally will take place on the Sunday before the election, this is not a political event," the organizers said. "We ask that participants refrain from bringing campaign signs or paraphernalia associated with particular candidates."

Passing out literature either inside the stadium or in the parking lot will not be permitted.
