Fredericksburg Bank Robber Arrested in South Carolina: Police

He also stole a couple of vehicles and was found with felony possession of cocaine in York, S.C., according to Fredericksburg Police.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — The who robbed the Citizens First Bank at 1575 Jefferson Davis Highway Thursday and also stole a couple of vehicles was arrested Tuesday in South Carolina, according to Fredericksburg Police.

Michael Satterfield, 48, of Durham, N.C., was arrested in York, S.C., and charged possession of cocaine and auto theft. Also, police in Fredericksburg obtained felony warrants for bank robbery and auto larceny.

Prior to robbing the bank, police say he stole a Lexus from Hanover County, and afterward stole a Ford Escape from a 7-Eleven at 905 Lafayette Boulevard.

Shortly before 4 p.m., police say he entered the bank and gave a note to the teller that said he was armed and wanted cash. He got it, and fled north before ultimately going south.
