Fredericksburg Christmas Parade 2016 Dec. 5

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — One of the D.C. area's more venerable holiday celebrations is set for its annual showing early next month in the streets of downtown.

And contrary to some similar fests, this one is reserved for the evening hours.

It's the Fredericksburg Christmas Parade, Dec. 5, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Parking is limited, and spectators are urged to arrive early to get a prime viewing location.

It begins on Caroline Street and wraps around to Princess Anne Street.
