Virginia: 21,552 people have been tested so far, with 2,407 positive cases. 390 cases require hospitalization and there have been 52 deaths in Virginia.

If this is new to you or has been a while since cooking for your family, here are some fire safety tips:· Do not leave cooking unattended· Never put water on a grease fire – it will cause the fire to spread· Use a lid or cookie sheet to smother the fire if you can do so safely· DO NOT attempt to move the pot or pan that is burning· If you have a fire extinguisher – make sure it is safe to use in the kitchen AND YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT· Ensure everyone is out of the home and call 9-1-1 from outside the home.· Once outside, stay outside and wait for the fire department· Test your smoke alarms, they will save your life
