Fredericksburg City Public Schools Make Schedule Decision For Feb. 3
Fredericksburg City Public Schools has updated its operating status for students and employees on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — All Fredericksburg City Public Schools will operate on a Code Blue on Tuesday, Feb. 3, which will be a remote learning day for students.
Although school parking lots appeared to be clear on Monday afternoon, continued road and sidewalk conditions present challenges getting families and staff to and from schools, according to an FCPS release.
All staff should plan to work remotely from home on Tuesday, while 12-month employees have the option of reporting to buildings or teleworking. Essential employees should report according to supervisor's guidance.

Meal distribution for students will take place 12 to 2 p.m., on Tuesday, at James Monroe High School, which is located at 2300 Washington Ave. in Fredericksburg. Students do not need to be present. A parent or adult relative needs to provide a student's name for meal pick-up.
"FCPS buildings will have limited availability to 12-month employees," according to an alert issued on Monday. "Students are expected to learn from home and staff should work remotely tomorrow, Tuesday, February 3."
