Fredericksburg Gets New Escape Room

You can have up to seven people with you in the room. You have 45 minutes to escape. Go!

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — If you're into room-sized puzzles, you're in luck. Connect Games Escape Room opened in downtown Fredericksburg on Feb. 16 and offers a chance for puzzle lovers to figure out how to escape.

Up to eight people at a time will be able to participate, locked in a 13- by 15-foot room. Groups have 45 minutes to discover the secret to escaping.

“Connect Games is a great place for people to connect with each other and have a fun time, all without having to be on their phones,” owner Kristen Sill said in a news release, Fredericksburg.com reported.

Sill, having managed two escape rooms, decided to start one on her own and thus Connect Games Escape Room was born, Fredericksburg.com reported.

"This past weekend and President's Day we had a great turnout," Sill told Patch. "It is definitely a challenging puzzle, but our goal is for our escape room to have multiple levels depending on whether players are experts or novices with escape rooms."
