Pres. Obama Opens Campaign Office in Fredericksburg Sunday

University of Mary Washington students have been helping staff of President Obama set up a new campaign office on Central Park Boulevard.

President Obama will open a campaign office in Fredericksburg this weekend.

The campaign made the announcement today on its website. The office will be at 1281 Central Park Blvd, Suite 1281, and at 3 p.m. Sunday there will be a grand opening.

“The office opening this Sunday is going to be fantastic,” said Darshini Patel Patel, regional field director for the greater Fredericksburg area. “Our supporters and volunteers are going to put on their Obama buttons, check out this great new space, and then see the potential of launching the most effective grassroots campaign the Fredericksburg area has ever seen.”

University of Mary Washington students have been painting and setting up the office all week, the campaign says.
