Fredericksburg Home Hit By Gunfire, Police Investigating

The woman who lived in the home reported multiple shots were fired at her front door, according to police.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Multiple shots were fired at a Fredericksburg residence Friday night, prompting an investigation by police. An officer was patrolling in the 300 block of Glover Street just after 10 p.m. when he heard the shots, according to police.

A woman also called 911 to report multiple gunshots were fired at her front door, police said. Upon investigation, officers found shell casings near the home and set up a perimeter to investigate. No bullets entered the home, according to police.
