Fredericksburg Man Charged After Disturbance On Warrenton Road

A Fredericksburg man was charged with assault and battery after a reported disturbance on Warrenton Road, authorities said.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Randall Hulburt, 57, of Fredericksburg, was charged with assault and battery after a reported disturbance Tuesday afternoon on Warrenton Road, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.

A sheriff's responded to the area around 1:30 p.m. to investigate the report of an assault. The victim told the deputy that an argument with Hulburt led to Hulburt pushing the victim, authorities said.

The deputy saw visible marks on the victim’s body, according to the sheriff’s office. Hulburt admitted to pushing the victim and was arrested, authorities said.

Hulburt was released on an unsecured bond.
