Fredericksburg Man Killed In Stafford Crash: Police
A Fredericksburg man was killed Thursday morning in a crash in Stafford, according to Virginia State Police.

STAFFORD, VA—A Fredericksburg man was killed Thursday morning in a crash in the 700 block of White Oak Road, according to Virginia State Police. David M. Lenox, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene and a female passenger was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
Shortly after 7 a.m., a 2015 Ford Mustang driven by Lenox was headed west on White Oak Road. He lost control, ran off the right side of the road, over-corrected and went back on the road, crossing the center line. That's when he encountered an east-bound 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe, which tried but failed to avoid the Mustang.
The driver of the Tahoe was wearing a seat belt and wasn't injured. Both people in the Mustang also were wearing seat belts. Road conditions were a factor in the crash.
