Suspects Who Shot And Killed 18-Year-Old In Fredericksburg Still At Large: Police
Authorities are still searching for two teens who are charged in connection with a fatal Fredericksburg shooting that occurred on March 26.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — On March 26, 18-year-old Jasiah Smith was shot and killed in the City of Fredericksburg. Last week, two teenagers were charged in connection with his death. However, authorities haven't been able to find the suspects.
The Fredericksburg Police Department identified the suspects as 19-year-old Aaron Cater and a 16-year-old. Authorities have not publicly named the juvenile due to a Virginia law that protects the identities of minors.
Carter is charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. The 16-year-old is charged with first-degree murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
