Fredericksburg Nationals 2026 Preview: Schedule, Top Prospects, Promotions

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — The Fredericksburg Nationals are gearing up for an action-packed 2026 season at Virginia Credit Union Stadium, marking their sixth season in the Commonwealth.

With a roster featuring the next generation of Washington Nationals stars and a promotional calendar overflowing with giveaways and fireworks, the 2026 campaign promises to be the most exciting yet.

Opening Night is set for Friday, April 3, 2026, as the FredNats host the Augusta GreenJackets. Fans attending the opener will receive a commemorative Rally Towel and witness the first of 15 scheduled post-game firework spectaculars.

What’s New for 2026?

The FredNats have refined their schedule and fan experience for the new year:

• Updated Game Times: Most Tuesday–Saturday home games will now begin at 6:35 p.m., while Sunday games shift to a 1:35 p.m. first pitch.
• Enhanced $2 Tuesdays: For the first time, the popular $2 ticket deal now includes specific field-level seats (previously standing room only), alongside the fan-favorite $2 tacos.
• Themed Nights: Saturday nights remain the home of "Theme Nights," featuring new additions like Casino Night, Backyard Baseball, and a Barbie-themed game day, alongside returning hits like Star Wars and Harry Potter nights.
