Parks, Trails and Suggested Walks

To combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus, it’s important to keep our distance from each other, but it’s also important that we get outside and enjoy some fresh air. With this in mind, the City of Fredericksburg has developed a digital guide to help our residents enjoy the great outdoors in our lovely community.

The new map includes hiking and walking trails — some paved, some not — located all over Fredericksburg. In addition, the City has more than 100 miles of sidewalks that meander past beautiful 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st century homes, beautiful parks and many stores and restaurants that remain open for takeout and delivery.

Please be conscious and courteous to other trail users; make room to allow others to pass. And most importantly, please remember to follow Social Distancing guidelines (at least 6’ between walkers) for the safety of yourself and those around you. Stay safe!
