Fredericksburg Pet Of The Week: Pickles Is Ready To Steal Hearts

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Pickles has found himself in quite the pickle! At just over a year old, he has a lot of energy to work off after living in a shelter most of his young life.

Pickles gets his zoom-zoom-zoomies out in the shelter's play yard with his favorite volunteers and animal care technicians at the Fredericksburg SPCA. He played so hard, Pickles sustained a partial tear to his CCL.

The Fredericksburg SPCA is in the process of raising the funds needed for Pickles to get CCL surgery. But he would still love a home to call his own. The SPCA would like to see Pickles heal in a home environment with a family who loves him. Because of this, the SPCA is offering an extended foster-to-adopt period for him as the SPCA gets him the care he needs.

Pickles is smart, handsome, and ready to steal hearts wherever he goes. Pickles loves a good brain game with his puzzle feeders and fun boxes and is ready to impress you with how quickly he learns new things.
