Fredericksburg Police Seek Suspect in CVS Robbery

The suspect is a black man, last seen wearing a black North Face hoodie, dark pants and dark shoes.

Fredericksburg City Police are looking for an armed robbery suspect who held up CVS pharmacy, 591 Jefferson Davis Highway, on Nov. 13.

The suspect is a black man last seen wearing a black North Face hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and dark shoes.

At about 8:45 p.m. Thursday the suspect entered CVS and walked toward the pharmacy in the back. He approached the counter holding a handkerchief to his face and pulled out a firearm, according to the police report.

The suspect then jumped behind the counter, handed a backpack to the pharmacist and demanded the bag be filled with assorted pills. After receiving the pills, the man fled on foot.

Police ask anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to contact Detective Besty Mason at 540-654-5934.
