Fredericksburg Restaurant Inspections: 13 Violations At 2 Places

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Local health officials recently inspected food preparation and storage businesses in Fredericksburg. During the last week of inspections, officials found a total of 36 violations at 10 Fredericksburg-area restaurants.

Violations noted below — such as the 7 at Waffle House in Ruther Glen and the 6 at Q uality Inn in Thornburg — involve those issues that would typically require a re-inspection if not corrected or those that are more likely than other violations to contribute to food contamination.

"In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations," according to Virginia Department of Health's website.
