Fredericksburg Restaurant Inspections: Chipotle, Cafe New Orleans

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Local health officials recently inspected food preparation and storage businesses in Fredericksburg. During the last week of inspections, officials found a total of 176 violations at 41 Fredericksburg-area restaurants.

Violations noted below — such as the 18 at Cafe New Orleans and the 15 at Tropical Smoothie Cafe, both in Fredericksburg — involve those issues that would typically require a re-inspection if not corrected or those that are more likely than other violations to contribute to food contamination.

"In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations," according to Virginia Department of Health's website.
