Artful Dimensions Gallery - 911 Charles Street - "Glass Gardens:" Artist Colleen McElfresh will debut her newest 3D stained glass work. Her creations represent her love for nature, and all things natural. Opening reception, 6 - 9 p.m.
Brush Strokes Gallery - 824 Caroline Street - March's show features the work of Ben Childers, in his exhibit entitled, "Fanciful Glass." Explore the many styles of his artisan glass works. Opening reception, 6 - 9 p.m.

The Creative Side Inc - 513 Jackson Street - Enjoy the work of students from Fredericksburg Academy, as well as those from surrounding counties. Face painting, art demos and snacks will be provided. Opening reception, 5 - 8 p.m.
Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts - 813 Sophia Street - In the Frederick Gallery, view the juried show, "Faces and Figures." Deborah Herndon will be showing her work in the Members' Gallery, "How Culture Cues Connections." Opening reception, 6 - 8:30 p.m.

Liberty Town - 916 Liberty Street - View work from our temporary locals at the University of Mary Washington Invitational Student Exhibition. Opening reception, 5 - 9 p.m.
Ponshop Gallery - 712 Caroline Street - This exhibit, "Stitched, Altered, and Plush" displays the handcrafted work of Ashleigh Burbidge, Leslie Brier, and Jodie Rackley. Felts, fabrics, clay and found objects make up this 3-dimensional show. Opening reception, 6 - 9 p.m.
Populuxe Gallery - 107 William Street - This new gallery will host its Grand Opening, with a photography show and live music. Opening reception, 5 - 9 p.m.
Read All Over Books - 307 William Street - The Fredericksburg Theatre Ensemble will present Noah Haidle's "Mr. Marmalade." The show contains adult themes and language and is intended for mature audiences. Opening reception, 5 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10.
Tanya Richey Studio Gallery - 817 Caroline Street - "Fred-Zingen: Portraits of Fredericksburg:" Tanya Richey plans to take her work of Fredericksburg to Germany for a two part exhibit. View the work and see which pieces will travel to Europe. Opening reception, 6 - 9 p.m.
Weadon Studio and Fine Art - 305 Hanson Avenue - Enjoy drinks, music and of course, art at this month's new show, "Flowers of Evil." Opening reception, 7 - 10 p.m.
Wm Mason Violin Shop - 509-1 Jackson Street - Explore the world of Wm Mason II’s Violin Shop this Friday. With plenty of music to go around and a professional luthier on hand, walking into the shop is a learning experience for all. Opening reception, 6 p.m.
